If you spit and rinse and do not swallow the toothpaste it should not be an issue at all. XyliWhite is a good alternative toothpaste that is free of fluoride as well. Fluoride is far more dangerous to your health than hydrogen peroxide. By the way laundry bleach is chlorine not peroxide.

Please note that free form hydrogen peroxide is not broken down in either your saliva or your stomach. The body has 2 enzymes that is task with the break down of H2O2 and they cannot survive in the stomach and the amounts in saliva is negligible.

The SCCP opinion states: “Hydrogen peroxide passes readily across biological membranes. Because it reacts slowly with organic substrates, it can diffuse considerable distances in biological systems. There are two main hydrogen peroxide metabolising enzymes, catalase and glutathione peroxidase which control the hydrogen peroxide concentration.”

Really? You think the H2O2 in toothpaste survives ingestion, and then manages to make it all the way to the hair follicles without spontaneously decomposing in the stomach first, or decomposing or being inactivated by enzymes in the body (if it even could cross from the GI tract into the body without decomposing first, which is highly doubtful)? I bet you also think paying through the nose for “oxygenated sports water” also make sense, as opposed to just drinking water, and breathing, for God’s sake. Anyone with even a basic understanding of science or physiology knows that what you’re suggesting is both impossible and absurd. You should be really embarrassed.
